Motorcyclist Larry Bandeaux, 47, Killed in Palm Desert Crash
PALM DESERT (June 16, 2019) – A motorcyclist identified as Larry Bandeaux, 47, died Saturday night when a vehicle turned in front of his bike at Monterey Avenue and Shadow Ridge Road.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as a resident of Palm Desert.
Police say Bandeau was riding a motorcycle northbound on Monterey Avenue when his bike and a Toyota SUV collided at the intersection with Shadow Ridge Road.

Police stated that the car had made a left-hand turn from southbound Monterey onto Shadow Ridge in front of the bike about 6:49 a.m.
Bandeau was quickly transported to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The 28-year-old Thousand Palms woman driving the vehicle stopped following the crash and is cooperating with the investigation.
