Motorcyclist Killed in Crash in McLane, Fresno County
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2021) — Larry Reed, 38, of Sanger, died Sunday in a motorcycle crash with a minivan on McKinley Avenue in the McLane area of Fresno County.
The Sanger man was allegedly riding a Yamaha R1 motorcycle at high speed eastbound on McKinley Avenue prior to the collision, according to a report by the Fresno County Sheriff’s Coroner.
Meanwhile, Maiyer Yang, 30, of Clovis, was also driving ahead of the motorcyclist in a Toyota Sienna minivan. She was also traveling in the same direction eastbound McKinley Avenue. She reportedly pulled to the right shoulder of the roadway and then pulled out in front of the bike and immediately began making a U-turn just east of Temperance Avenue.

The motorcyclist was unable to avoid the collision and crashed into the driver’s side of the Toyota. Larry Reed was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered major injuries in the collision.
Paramedics responded to help the injured rider, but sadly he died at the scene. Investigators do not suspect alcohol or drugs were factors in this collision.
