2 Injured in Collision at Elkhorn and Werner
Las Lomas, CA (April 25, 2022) – A car crash that occurred in the area of Elkhorn Road and Werner Avenue resulted in injuries, the Pajaronian News reported.
3-Car Accident in Las Lomas
On April 19, Tuesday, multiple vehicles collided at the intersection in Las Lomas. Our sources indicated the wreck involved three automobiles–a Mini Cooper, a Ford pickup, and a Chevy van. Preliminary investigation revealed a the Mini Cooper was heading south on Elkhorn Road; while the Ford was traveling north on Elkhorn Road. For reasons still under investigation, the two vehicle drove at the same time into the Werner Avenue intersection. Officials said the Mini Cooper ended up crashing into Ford, causing the pickup to flip on its side.
Before coming to a rest on to its side, the Ford struck a Chevy van stopped on Werner Road.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 8:45 a.m. According to the article published online, the accident left two parties trapped in the mangled Ford. The North Monterey County firefighters worked extensively to pull out the two occupants. After the successful extrication process, paramedics treated the two victims for minor injuries. Personal information on the injured parties remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision at Elkhorn Road and Werner Avenue in Las Lomas.
