Woman, 55, Struck by Vehicle in Lancaster Fatal Crash
LANCASTER, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2024) — Lashon Bailey, 55, was hit by a vehicle Monday night in a fatal Lancaster pedestrian accident at Avenue J and Dale Avenue.

The woman was later identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office as Lashon Bailey.
It happened at around 7:40 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2nd, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The driver of a white Honda was heading westbound on Avenue J when they hit the pedestrian who was walking southbound across Avenue J in an unmarked crosswalk, police said.
Detectives are working on the case to determine if the driver or the pedestrian had the right of away.
They will also find out if alcohol, drugs, and or speed were factors in the crash.
Finally, witnesses are asked to call traffic investigators at the Lancaster sheriff’s station at 661-948-8466.
