1 Seriously Injured in Crash at Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville Road
LASSEN COUNTY, CA (November 10, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:26 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Buntingville community of Lassen County. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville Road.
2 Cars Collide in Buntingville
The incident log described the cars as a Toyota Highlander and a Lexus. The Toyota obtained right front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Janesville. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 395 and Standish Buntingville to shut down for an hour and a half following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
