Major Injury Crash into Truck in Lassen County
LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. (July 15, 2021) — A Lassen County Highway 395 crash involved a pickup truck and big rig truck.
The collision happened about 3:26 a.m. on July 15th, just south of Red Rock Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a Chevrolet 4 x 4 pickup truck reportedly rear-ended a big rig truck. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time, but liability is under review by authorities.
Women Hospitalized Due to Hwy 395 Collision
However, two females who were in the pickup truck were trapped after the Lassen County Highway 395 crash. Firefighters extricated the women and paramedics transported at least one of them by air to a trauma center due to major injuries. Police have not released the names of the injured.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the pickup truck due to heavy front-end damage.
