Major Injury Collision Near Louise Avenue Offramp Wednesday
Lathrop, CA (March 3, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a big rig collided with another vehicle in the southbound side of the freeway. Due to the force from the impact, the Jeep Cherokee and the big rig both ended up disabled in the right-hand side of I-5.

Shortly after 4:05 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a woman with major injuries. Medical personnel rendered aid to the victim. At this time, the name and age of the injured woman remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident on Interstate 5 in Lathrop.
