Lauren Burdine Lewis, 31, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on South Township Road Sunday
Yuba-Sutter, CA (November 2, 2020) – A 31-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident that occurred on South Township Road Sunday morning.
The Appeal-Democrat reported Lauren Burdine Lewis was seen walking north in the southbound side of South Township Road. When the female pedestrian approached the area near Lincoln Road, a Ford F-150 traveling south on South Township struck Lewis.

The collision resulted in life-threatening injuries to Lewis. Our sources indicated the woman later succumbed to her trauma and sadly died.
Meanwhile, officials identified the driver of the Ford as 66-year-old Rafael Carrillo-Herrera. The driver from Yuba City reportedly appeared unharmed after the incident.
Liability in the deadly pedestrian accident in Yuba-Sutter remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the fatal crash.
