Lawrence Young, 50, Killed Aguanga Crash on State Route 79 at Crosley Truck Trail
AGUANGA, California (June 22, 2017) — Lawrence Young, 50, of Aguanga has been identified as the man killed in a collision Wednesday involving multiple vehicles and injuries on State Route 79 at Crosley Truck Trail, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The crash took place about 7:50 p.m. yesterday. Two other people were critically hurt in the crash, just east of Temecula. Seven others were assessed by paramedics at the scene of the collision, but they refused an ambulance. Two people were trapped in vehicles and extricated by firefighters with one being airlifted to a hospital and the other was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital.
The crash prompted a SigAlert due to the roadway being blocked. Investigators are looking into liability for the collision, but no details were provided at this time.
