At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Rollover Crash on 5 Freeway Wednesday
Lebec, CA (September 15, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a solo-vehicle, believed to be a black sedan, overturned in the northbound side of the highway in Lebec. Officials said the car rolled over several times before coming to a stop flipped on its roof.

Shortly after 7 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. First responders found a victim bleeding and trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out the injured party. The CHP log later confirmed the unidentified occupant sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck.
Further information on the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Lebec happened.
