Major Injury Collision Near Fort Tejon Road Offramp Sunday
Lebec, CA (March 20, 2022) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Sunday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group reported an accident involving two vehicles took place in the southbound side of I-5. Officials said the collision took place near the Fort Tejon Road offramp.
CHP logged the case around 9:45 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found a blue BMW and a sedan both with significant damage. Authorities added a box van was also spotted in the area but it remained unclear if it played a role in the crash.

Our sources mentioned at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, two others sustained minor injuries in the collision. The parents apparently picked up the two victims, possibly juveniles, at the accident scene. Personal information on the injured parties remained remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate at this time the precise cause of the car crash on Interstate 5 in Lebec.
