1 Killed, 1 Injured in Collision Near Lebec Service Road
Lebec, CA (October 9, 2022) – A deadly traffic accident occurred Sunday on the Interstate 5 Freeway, the KGET News reported.
Motorcycle vs. Semi Truck on Interstate 5 in Lebec
Officials said a motorbike with two occupants collided with a semi truck in the northbound side of the freeway. According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place near Lebec Service Road exit.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the two riders suffering in major injuries. Given their condition, medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital. Authorities later confirmed one person sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
No immediate information was available on the driver of the big rig involved in the unfortunate event.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash that happened on Interstate 5 in Lebec.
