LEBEC, California (Wednseday, December 2, 2015) – A solo traffic collision at 42810 Frazier Mountain Park Road forced a vehicle into a ditch 150 feet from the roadway. The damaged vehicle was therefore not visible from the roadway and the occupants were trapped. One victim sustained serious injuries. A medivac unit transported the injured party to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred at about 8:27 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, Bakersfield. The incident had been initially reported as a hit-and-run. Police however managed to determine that the driver lost control of the vehicle prior to the accident.
