 Lee Henderson III Killed in South LA Crash Florence and Central Avenues SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 16, 2021) — Lee Henderson III, 20, is one of three who died April 11th in a crash at Florence and Central avenues in South Los Angeles.

The young man, along with a 14-year-old boy, and Quindien Holmes, 23, of Los Angeles, were all passengers who died in the 10:51 p.m. crash on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner. They were riding in a 2007 Toyota traveling eastbound on Florence Avenue before its driver lost control and collided with a Jeep.  The Jeep subsequently collided into the back of a Honda, while the Toyota crashed into a building and a pole.

Young Men, Teen Suffer Fatal Injuries in South LA Crash

Lee Henderson III, Quindien Holmes and the teenage boy all died at the crash scene.

The 20-year-old Hawthorne man driving the Toyota had moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance St. Francis Medical Center.

Meanwhile, paramedics also transported a 28-year-old Los Angeles woman riding as a passenger in the Jeep who had minor injuries.

No other known injuries among the people occupying the three vehicles.
