Lee Vang Arrested For Sexually Assaulting Customer in Oroville
Woman Sexually Assaulted at Oroville Smog Shop
OROVILLE (July 27, 2017) – The owner of a smog shop was arrested Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a customer on July 25, according to KRCRTV.
Oroville Police Department identified the suspect as 44-year-old Lee Vang.
As per the article, police said the incident occurred when the female victim went to Table Mountain Tires and Smog on July 25 to have a smog test done. Vang began making sexual advances towards her when the two were left were alone in the business.
Subsequently, Vang reportedly forced himself onto the woman and sexually assaulted her several times.

Officials affirmed that after the attack, the victim immediately left the business and called for help. She then underwent an evidentiary medical exam for the purposes of obtaining DNA.
Vang was arrested on July 27 and was detained for numerous sexual assault related offenses and booked into the Butte County Jail with a bail set at $190,000.
Police believe that there could be other women who were sexually assaulted at the smog shop. Anyone with information is asked to call OPD Detectives at 530-538-2448.
