2 Hospitalized After ATV Collision on Bella Vista Drive Friday
Adelanto, CA (May 28, 2021) – Leilani Medina and Carlos Medina both suffered injuries following a motor-vehicle crash on Bella Vista Drive Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, Leilani Medina and Carlos Medina were each riding an all-terrain vehicle. For reasons still unclear, the two riders collided with each other near El Mirage Dry Lake in Adelanto.
The CHP log mentioned the crash happened between the 4800 and 4967 block of Bella Vista Drive.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they found the two parties with injuries. Primary reports indicated Leilani Medina sustained injuries to her right shoulder; meanwhile, Carlos Medina suffered a head injury and several lacerations all over his body.
The relationship of the two patients remained unknown at this time.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole night to investigate the exact cause of the ATV accident in Adelanto.
