Lemon Grove hit-and-run Route 94 College
1 Injured in Lemon Grove Hit-and-Run Crash on State Route 94 at College Avenue
LEMON GROVE, CA (March 11, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on State Route 94 and College Avenue in Lemon Grove.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck occurred at about 12:21 p.m.
The incident happened when four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lemon Grove. They crashed on eastbound State Route 94 at College Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
CHP described one of the cars as a gray Nissan Sentra, which obtained rear-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They took the patient to the Sharp Grossmont Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers forced the eastbound lanes of State Route 94 to shut down near College following the wreck. The cause of the Lemon Grove hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
