Pedestrian Man, 87, Victim in Hit-and-Run
LEMON GROVE (August 1, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a hit-and-run collision left an elderly pedestrian man injured this morning at 3240 Main Street.
At roughly 9:06 a.m., a friend of a pedestrian man phoned CHP officials after his 87-year-old friend had just been struck by a motorist whose driver failed to stop and render aid.

It remains unclear how serious the victim’s injuries were, however, it was confirmed the pedestrian man was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No details were provided on the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle or the vehicle itself as the suspect likely remains at-large.
