1 Seriously Injured in Lemon Hills Crash Near 47th Avenue and Laurine Way
LEMON HILLS, CA (April 2, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person near 47th Avenue and Laurine Way in Lemon Hills.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:53 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Lemon Hills. They crashed in front of the 6329 Laurine Way near the intersection with 47th Avenue.
Van and Sedan Collide
CHP described the cars as a silver Toyota Camry and a blue minivan. They added that a female occupant and a baby were seen outside one of the vehicles involved.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one occupant who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of 47th Avenue and Laurine Way to shut down for an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Lemon Hills crash is still under investigation.
