Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Lemoore Crash at Grangeville Boulevard and 22nd Avenue
LEMOORE, CA (September 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash at Grangeville Boulevard and 22nd Avenue in Lemoore.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the accident at about 6:18 a.m.
According to CHP, the rider of a 2009 black Yamaha R1 motorcycle and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Lemoore.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The two crashed at the intersection of Grangeville Boulevard and 22nd Avenue. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near Highway 41.
They found the motorcyclist who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the victim to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver stopped or stayed at the site following the wreck.
Officers soon forced the area of Grangeville Boulevard and 22nd Avenue to shut down after the collision. The cause of the Lemoore crash is still under investigation.
