Homeless Man Killed Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway

 Leonard Gonzales Zamora Fatal 110 Freeway Pedestrian Accident Downtown LALOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 19, 2021) – Leonard Gonzales Zamora, 70, is identified as the pedestrian pushing a wheelchair killed in a hit-and-run car accident on the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

The homeless man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he pushed a wheelchair on the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Leonard Gonzales Zamora.

Also, the driver struck the  70-year-old homeless man about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 18th near Adams Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol. Police did not mention why the man was on the freeway.

Additionally, the driver in the vehicle failed to stop after the collision. Furthermore, police did not provide a description of the involved vehicle.

Finally, the CHP urged anyone with information about the deadly collision to contact them. Witnesses may call the CHP Central Los Angeles office at 213-744-2331.
