Leonardo Deanda, 19, Killed in Car Accident Near Frazier Mountain Park Road
LEBEC, Kern County (May 28, 2018) – On May 27, Sunday, a teenager was killed in a traffic collision on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Frazier Mountain Park Road.
The fatality was identified as 19-year-old Leonardo Deanda.
According to KGET.com, Deanda was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Ian Meyer at the time of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened when Meyer apparently allowed his vehicle to veer off the northbound laneway of the interstate, and struck the center median wall. The impact forced the vehicle to rollover.

Deanda was reportedly ejected during the crash. The teenager suffered fatal trauma in the incident, and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, Meyer was taken to Kern Medical with non-life threatening injuries.
