Lester Harris, 53, Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on 73rd Street

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Friday, October 5th
October 7, 2018 – A 53-year-old man was killed in a suspected hit-and-run collision on 73rd Avenue Friday evening, according to the Mercury News.
Authorities have identified the fatality as Lester Charles Harris.
As per the article, Harris was walking westbound across 73rd at about 8:09 p.m. Officials believed the man was outside of a crosswalk, near the 2500 block of, when he was hit by an older model black Ford Thunderbird.

The impact resulted in fatal trauma to Harris, who was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, authorities said the car continued on 73rd following the collision. A description of the hit-and-run motorist was not released.
