Liam Patrick O’Connor, 23, Suspect in Hit-and-Run Crash at Carroll Canyon and Scranton Road Saturday
Sorrento Valley, CA (February 23, 2021) – Officials identified Liam Patrick O’Connor as the suspect in the hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Carroll Canyon and Scranton Road, the NBC San Diego reported.
Pedestrian Critical After Hit-and-Run Accident in Sorrento Valley, February 13
On February 13, Saturday a green 1991 Lexus struck a female pedestrian at the Sorrento Valley intersection. The crash took place a little after midnight. Our sources confirmed the woman suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. Pending confirmation, the identity of the victim remained undisclosed.
On February 21, Sunday, investigators located the green 1991 Lexus involved in the collision. Per local news source, officers found the car in the 7000 block of Whipple Avenue in the University City neighborhood of San Diego. Police then took the suspect, 23-year-old Liam Patrick O’Connor, into custody. The news article mentioned the driver will face several charges, including felony hit-and-run and reckless driving.
