Woman, 83, Killed in Car Accident Identified
MURRIETA, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2024) — Lilia Seno, 83, of Winchester, died in a two-vehicle crash in Murrieta on Whitewood Road, just south of Clinton Keith Road.
The head-on collision occurred at around 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The Murrieta Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene of the crash between two motorists where one veered into the path of the other one, according to The Patch.
They located the victim who was riding as a passenger in one of the vehicles with major injuries. She was transported to Valley Medical Center, but died about an hour later at the hospital, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The two drivers were also injured and taken to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on Whitewood Road. However, speed and impairment do not appear to be factors.
