Lily Harris Killed, Brandon Harris Injured After Boating Crash on Bass Lake

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Monday, September 3rd
September 4, 2018 – A child was killed, and her father was injured in a boating crash in a census-designated place in Madera County Monday afternoon, according to ABC News.
The accident happened just after 3 p.m. during Labor Day celebrations at Bass Lake.

As per the article, 7-year-old Lily Harris and 32-year-old Brandon Harris were ran over by a boat, that was apparently speeding through the slow zone. Witnesses narrated the father and daughter were tubing at the time of the crash.
Medical records indicated emergency responders administered CPR to Lily before both she and her father were airlifted to hospitals.
When the girl arrived at Valley Children’s Hospital, she was sadly pronounced deceased.
On the other hand, Brandon reportedly had surgery and is recovering at a hospital.
No immediate information was released on the boat operator involved, and their whereabouts after the accident.
