2 Killed After Car Slams Into Home on McBean Park Drive
LINCOLN (July 15 2017) – Two people died after their vehicle crashed into a residence located along McBean Park Drive early Saturday morning, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The accident, which involved two fatalities, was reported at 12:20 a.m.
As per the article, an initial investigation conducted by the Lincoln Police Department indicated that the vehicle was apparently traveling west on McBean Park Drive when for an unknown reason it slammed into a light pole on A Street.
The car then drove through a fence and struck a house. Both the vehicle and the residence caught fire upon impact.
Police said the two occupants of the car were found dead inside after the fire department officials extinguished the fire. Their names have not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, authorities affirmed that the two residents of the home were unharmed. The incident remains under investigation.
