Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Collision at Sierra College Boulevard and Lower Ranch Road Thursday
Lincoln, CA (April 29, 2021) – A motorcycle rider died following a road accident in the area of Sierra College Boulevard and Lower Ranch Road Thursday morning.
The FOX40 News reported the horrible crash involved a big rig. Preliminary investigation revealed the truck was headed south on Sierra College Boulevard; then, the operator of the big rig slowed down to make a left-hand turn onto Lower Ranch Road.
According to the article published online, the motorcyclist attempted to pass the big rig and swerved into the opposing lane of traffic. As the rider accelerated, he crashed into the left rear side of the truck. The force from the impact reportedly ejected the motorcyclist onto the roadway.

Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after 10 a.m. Paramedics reportedly performed life-saving measures to the rider but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, officials said the truck operator appeared unharmed after the collision.
