Pedestrian Killed in Lincoln Crash at Sun City and Ferrari Ranch
LINCOLN, CA (April 21, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian at Sun City Boulevard and Ferrari Ranch Road in Lincoln.
According to an article published by the Gold Country Media, the tragic accident took place on Monday afternoon. The collision occurred between 1 and 2 p.m.
The incident happened on April 18 when a male pedestrian was training for an upcoming running competition in the city of Lincoln.
Police said for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck him in the crosswalk. The driver hit the 89-year-old man at the intersection of Sun City Boulevard and Ferrari Ranch Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the man dead. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the motorist cooperated with them. Officers forced the area of Sun City and Ferrari Ranch to shut down for a time following the accident.
The cause of the fatal Lincoln pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
