2 Men Injured in Lincoln Park Car Accident on 47th Street
SAN DIEGO (June 1, 2018) – Two were injured, one severely, after an alleged hit-and-run crash along 47th Street in Lincoln Park Sunday, May 27, according to NBC San Diego and Times of San Diego.
The accident took place at about 5 a.m. in the 500 block of South 47th Street.
As per the reports, police said 53-year-old Deneen Elizabeth Grear was driving a 2010 Mazda 3 when for an unknown reason she swerved right and slammed into a parked SUV.

A 79-year-old man sleeping in the back seat of the Mazda was thrown forward into the front passenger seat as a result of the crash. He was rushed to the hospital with severe head and neck trauma. The elderly patient, whose name has not been released, was listed in critical condition and is not expected to survive.
The 39-year-old man riding as a front passenger sustained minor injuries upon impact. The names of the two victims were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that Grear fled on foot following the wreck. She was later found and arrested at a location in the 7300 block of Broadway in Lemon Grove.
The suspect was booked into the La Colinas Detention Facility on suspicion of felony hit-and-run causing injury with a bail set at $50,000 bail.
