1 Injured in Lincoln Village Hit-and-Run Crash on Benjamin Holt Drive
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (October 3, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Benjamin Holt Drive in Lincoln Village.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident early Saturday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:54 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Lincoln Village area on October 2. They crashed at 1217 West Benjamin Holt Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Lincoln Shopping Center.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then provided aid to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver did not stop to help and fled the area.
Officers forced a stretch of Benjamin Holt Drive to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Lincoln Village hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
