Woman Killed in Head-on Collision in Lompoc
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Linda Bailey, 72, of Lompoc, has been identified as the woman who died in a head-on crash on Highway 1, according to a report by KEYT News.
The crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24th.
Bailey was traveling northbound in her Honda Accord sedan when for unknown reasons the vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane of State Route 1. The car collided head-on with a white Chevrolet pickup truck heading southbound on Highway 1.
The occupants in the landscape truck were unharmed.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.

The collision remains under investigation by police to determine fault.
