Bicyclist Injured in Linda Hit-and-Run Crash at Beale and Feather River
LINDA, CA (July 22, 2021) – A bicyclist was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Beale Road and Feather River Boulevard in Linda.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the incident at about 5:13 p.m.
The crash happened on July 21 when a vehicle struck a male bicycle rider for an unknown reason in Linda. The two collided at the intersection of Beale Road and Feather River Boulevard.
Bicycle Rider Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in front of the Burger King restaurant. They found the cyclist left wounded as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries he sustained in the accident. Officials did not disclose his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver did not stop to help the rider and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Beale and Feather River to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Linda hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
