Linda Burtenshaw, 78, in Sky Valley Car Crash on Dillon Road
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (March 31, 2021) – Linda Burtenshaw was killed after a car crash along Dillon Road in Sky Valley.
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office said the 78-year-old Coachella woman died following the wreck on Tuesday night.
The incident happened on March 30 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on Dillon Road, east of Lamel Drive in the Sky Valley area.
Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Lamel Drive
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and pronounced an occupant of one of the vehicles involved dead at the scene. Deputies identified the victim as Linda Burtenshaw.
According to the article published by The Desert Sun, officers reported the tragic accident at about 8:17 p.m. They did not mention if any other party sustained injuries as a result of the collision.
Authorities soon forced the road to shut down for a time following the Sky Valley crash. The cause of the fatal wreck is still under investigation.
