At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on State Route 70 Thursday
Linda, CA (July 15, 2021) – A fatal road accident occurred Thursday evening on State Route 70, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a motorcycle rider crashed for an unknown reason in the eastbound side of the highway. According to the CHP dispatch, the collision took place near the Feather River Boulevard offramp in Linda.
Officers logged the incident at approximately 9:55 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found at least one person with life-threatening injuries. Shortly after the crash, authorities pronounced the victim dead. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin. It was not immediately clear whether the fatal victim was the rider, or another party involved in the unfortunate event.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the fatal motorcycle accident in Linda.
