Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Linda Crash Near Beale Road and Avondale Avenue
LINDA, CA (July 2, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash near Beale Road and Avondale Avenue in Linda.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the incident at about 6:33 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Linda. The driver hit the person near the intersection of North Beale Road and Avondale Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Lindhurst Avenue. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Beale Road and Avondale Avenue to close for half an hour following the crash. They also did not mention if the motorist involved stopped after hitting the person.
The cause of the Linda pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
