Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Linda Crash at Beale Road and Lindhurst Avenue
LINDA, CA (September 7, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Beale Road and Lindhurst Avenue in Linda.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place early Tuesday. Officers reported the incident at about 2:17 a.m.
According to CHP, a dark colored sedan struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Linda. The car hit the person at the intersection of Beale Road and Lindhurst Avenue.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 70. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the area of Beale and Lindhurst to close following the crash.
The cause of the Linda pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
