Juvenile Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Linda Vista Road

January 20, 2019 – A hit-and-run collision occurred on Linda Vista Road near Comstock Street Saturday evening, according to CBS and San Diego Union-Tribune.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., a group of male pedestrians were walking north in the alley while a car approached heading the opposite direction. Officials said the vehicle veered to the side for an unknown reason and struck one of the members of the group.
The collision resulted in major injuries to the victim, who was briefly described as a male juveniles. Medical records indicated the boy was provided treatment for a fractured jaw and other injuries to his face.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the motorist involved continued driving following the crash. Police were reportedly told the suspect vehicle involved was a white sedan, but not other details were immediately available.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
