The California Highway Patrol determined that the 23-year-old Modesto woman was under the influence of alcohol when the collision occurred on Friday.
The incident began when Linzy Grajeda was driving a Kia Forte at about 60 to 70 mph in Stanislaus County. She then ran the two-way stop sign at the intersection of Monte Vista Road and Central Avenue.
