Fatal Hit-and-run Collision Kills Bicyclist in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 22, 2020) – Lisa Termin, 56, of Bellflower, died in a Long Beach hit-and-run bicycle accident last night.
The victim was struck by a semi-tractor trailer truck about 9 p.m. as she rode her bicycle at the Long Beach intersection, police said.
Police say the truck driver struck down the woman on Wednesday, Oct. 21st at Artesia Boulevard and Downey Avenue. Meanwhile, the Long Beach Fire Department responded to the crash scene and attempted to save her life, but sadly she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Long Beach Police Department, which is heading up the investigation, is seeking the public’s help in finding the suspect.
The suspect’s vehicle is a transport truck with a white cab and a large, white trailer. Lisa Termin was identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
