Driver Suspected of Vehicular Manslaughter Arrested
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 29, 2024) – Lisabeth Estrada Rodriguez died in a pedestrian accident on 46th Street and police arrested the driver on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.
The deadly crash occurred in the 1300 block of West 46th Street at around 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28th, according to KTLA 5 News.
A driver identified as 31-year-old Dwight Williams reportedly struck the woman with his SUV and pinned her against an apartment building just east of Normandie Avenue in South Los Angeles.
Lisabeth Estrada Rodriguez suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the collision, according to Los Angeles Fire Department officials.
Investigators are working on the case.
