Passengers Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 128
Napa County, CA (August 1, 2022) – Liselle Puentes, and Jasmine Moncada both suffered injuries following a suspected DUI car crash that occurred on Highway 128.
The Napa Valley Register News reported a 19-year-old Solano County woman was behind the wheel of a 2011 Volkswagen CC traveling on the highway Saturday evening. Our sources indicated the driver veered off the roadway. The sudden movement caused the vehicle to overturn.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the driver, and two other passengers in the Volkswagen. The article published online mentioned 18-year-old Liselle Puentes sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Vacaville. The other passenger, 18-year-old Jasmine Moncada, also sustained injuries. Paramedics transported Moncada by a ground ambulance to the same hospital.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the 19-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication during the investigation process. Given that, police booked the suspect into the county jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
