At Least 1 Airlifted After Rollover Crash on US-395 Friday
Litchfield, CA (May 14, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries following a car accident on U.S. Route 395 Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a passenger vehicle veered off the highway for an unknown reason and rolled over multiple times. Officials identified the car involved in the collision as a Mazda SUV.

Rescue teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 7 a.m. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed a helicopter airlifted the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Primary reports indicated the Mazda sustained major damage due to the incident. For this reason, a tow truck was called to the scene to clear the disabled car.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Litchfield remained unclear. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly what happened here and why.
