2 Killed, 1 Injured in Live Oak Crash at Larkin and Riviera Roads
LIVE OAK, CA (May 28, 2023) – A crash killed two people and injured one person at Larkin Road and Riviera Road in Live Oak.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on May 28 at about 1:41 p.m.
The incident happened when two cars collided head-on for an unknown reason in Live Oak. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Larkin and Riviera roads.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars involved as 2009 tan Toyota Camry and a 2013 red Ford F-150. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They confirmed that two people died as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed at least one other individual to the Enloe Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Larkin and Riviera roads to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Live Oak crash is still under investigation.
