Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Live Oak Crash on Highway 70
LIVE OAK, CA (April 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 70 near Live Oak.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4 p.m.
CHP said a black sedan and the rider of a black Enduro motorcycle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on Highway 70, just south of Chandler Road, near Live Oak.

The car obtained major rear damage from the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist partially unconscious as a result of the collision.
The patient ended up suffering from major injuries. Medical personnel then took the rider to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment of a broken leg.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver sustained any wound after the incident.
Officers forced the highway to shut down following the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Live Oak crash.
