5 Vehicles Involved in Collision on Vasco Road
LIVERMORE (January 10, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a 5-car accident was reported this morning on southbound Vasco Road near Los Vaqueros Road.
CHP officials were dispatched to the crash site which took place at roughly 8:57 a.m.
Involved in the wreck were a grey Lexus SUV, a blue Dodge SUV, and three additional vehicles whose descriptions were not provided in the report.
The report read that the Dodge SUV incurred the most damage after hitting the center divider. Fluid was noted to have been leaking from the vehicle throughout the road.
In one of the other vehicles was a woman who had an infant occupant accompanying her. Both parties required medical attention at the scene and were transported to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, there was confirmation that at least two others were injured, however, it was unclear if either of those motorists was taken to a medical facility for treatment.
At this time, no details have been provided in regards to the cause of the crash as officials remained present at the scene as of 9:30 a.m.
