5-Vehicle Livermore Crash Interstate 580 Freeway
LIVERMORE, Calif. (July 7, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 580 Freeway, just west of North Livermore Avenue in Alameda County.
The collision occurred in the westbound lanes of the I-580 about 5:53 a.m. on July 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported five motorists including a gray Honda Accord, a black Infiniti and a semi-truck were involved in the collision. The Infiniti reportedly crashed underneath the truck and the vehicles blocked several lanes of the roadway. Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash.
Additionally, the Alameda County Fire Department sent paramedics to help those injured in the collision. The report does not mention how many people suffered injuries or what caused the crash.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine liability for the Livermore crash on the Interstate 580 Freeway.
