3-Vehicle Livermore Crash on the I-580 Freeway
LIVERMORE, Calif. (May 11, 2022) — A Livermore multi-vehicle crash on the Interstate 580 Freeway happened Wednesday morning, just east of the North Greenville Road off ramp.
The major-injury collision occurred about 6:26 a.m. on May 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Ford Econoline van, a black Cadillac Escalade and a tan Honda Civic collided in the eastbound lanes of the I-580 due to unknown circumstances.
One person became trapped in their vehicle, but was conscious following the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene and reported at least one person suffered major injuries. They transported the seriously injured people to a hospital.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the Nos. 2, 3 and 4 lanes being blocked by vehicles. All three vehicles required tow trucks.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Livermore crash on the Interstate 580 Freeway.
