At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on 580 Freeway Saturday
Livermore, CA (September 7, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on the Interstate 580 Freeway on September 4, Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcycle rider collided with two others cars in the eastbound side of the freeway. Officials described the vehicle involved in the wreck as a black Mercedes, and a white Toyota.
Initial records indicated the accident took place near the north Flynn Road onramp at about 5:05 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the motorbike blocking the road. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims int eh collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck.

The CHP dispatch mentioned the driver of the black Mercedes fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the suspect.
Further investigation on the hit-and-run car crash in Livermore is underway.
