Officer Injured in Car, Motorcycle Accident on Isabel Avenue Friday
Livermore, CA (June 6, 2021) – A police officer in Livermore suffered injuries following an alleged hit-and-run car crash on Isabel Avenue Friday morning.
According to KTVU News, a motorcycle officer stopped a truck for a code violation on northbound Isabel Avenue. The article published online indicated the truck driver pulled over. However, when the officer got off his motorbike, the suspect put his truck in reverse.
Officials said the suspect put his truck in reverse and accelerated at a high rate of speed toward the officer. Per local news source, the officer managed to get out of the way of the truck but the officer still sustained injuries from the collision.

Our sources indicated the driver of the brown Toyota Tundra fled the scene after he backed over the officer. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run crash in Livermore.
Further investigation on the collision is underway.
